a sweet & healthy treat

The Banana Dunks were really just a way to keep me busy during this crazy quarantine we are experiencing right now. I had bananas that were going to go bad and I had dark chocolate chips that I needed to do something with before I ate the whole bag. That’s all!

These are the perfect sweet treat to keep in your freezer for when you know you are going to want something, but don’t always have what you want or don’t have a healthy alternative snack. I do wish I dunked the whole banana rather than just half, but that’s just me…. :)

Recipe

Ripe bananas (even if you think they are about to go bad, they are probably perfect for this!)
Dark chocolate chips/chunks (or milk chocolate if you prefer)
MCT Oil (I use Bulletproof, you could also use coconut oil or something similar)

Cut the bananas…
Melt the chips…
Dunk!


I chose to put them in the refrigerator for a few hours because I didn’t have room in my freezer but eventually I moved them to my freezer because they are better frozen. But it’s entirely up to you!
