Banana Pancakes
Banana Pancakes
Two eggs
One ripe banana
Scoop of almond butter
Scoop of almond flour (this will help the pancake to stay together and not fall apart!)
Dash of chia seeds
Dash of almond milk
Dash of cinnamon
Dash of date syrup
You can either blend with a fork, whisk or in a blender. I use a Nutribullet because it’s easiest.
Blueberries & dark chocolate chips optional.
Heat up a pan with some non-stick cooking spray and pour the batter in. Add your preferred pancake toppings and flip over once the pan side is cooked thoroughly and the batter isn’t runny.
This recipe has become a Saturday morning staple in my house. It’s not your traditional banana pancakes and we are just fine with that. It’s healthier, not full of fillers and junk. It is filling and filled with protein!
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do. It’s a really nice treat when you can have something that feels fun and nostalgic but also is good for you!
Happy Saturday, ya’ll! Stay safe, stay sane! And Stay home!!
Thinking of everyone during this crazy time, sending lots of love & prayers to all.
Thank you for being you & being here. xxFF
